The Posture Medic can help you retrain your posture, reduce back pain & dysfunction, stretch & strengthen your back & core muscles, and improve your overall health.
We often end up slouching or hunching in our occupational and daily activities. This compresses our spine and tightens the chest and neck. Your upper back ends up weaker because it’s not engaged properly. This can result in poor posture which can sometimes lead to dysfunction and pain. Posture Medic helps stabilise your posture by retracting your shoulders and improving your spinal alignment. It is recommended to be worn 15-30 minutes 2-5 times per day depending on your level of conditioning and as advised by your health professional.
As well as a postural brace the Posture Medic can be used as an exercise band. It comes with a 6-week program to guide you towards better posture. You will learn how to stretch overactive tight muscles in your chest, neck and back. This increases your range of motion allowing you to improve your posture. Our strengthening exercises specifically target the under active muscles in your neck and back that help you maintain good posture. These back and neck muscles are often overlooked when working out and are underutilized due to our postural habits.
