Current Clinic Operation Plans

As of the latest Federal and State Government advice allied health professionals will continue to operate in Australia as an essential service to the public and to reduce the strain on the medical & hospital system. As such we wanted to assure you that all our allied health services are continuing to operate following the strict infection control guidelines as outlined by the Australian Government Department of Health and following our own Patient Screening Policy. We will continue to follow the advice of the government and our respective allied health professional associations, and update you with any changes to this.

In addition to offering in-clinic services all our allied health practitioners are now offering telehealth consultations. While in-clinic consultations are preferred if essential and safe, we launched telehealth as an option for patients who cannot make it into the clinic. Telehealth is a virtual consultation that includes a history, diagnosis and management plan including counselling, reassurance, exercise, nutritional, lifestyle, occupational & ergonomic advice. For non manual therapy services telehealth could be similar to an in-clinic consultation. For manual therapy services we cannot replicate the hands on therapy but the positive is we can empower you as a patient to actively take an onus in self-managing your condition. At present Telehealth is covered by WorkSafe, Medicare CDMP & MHP, NDIS and is currently in the process of being negotiated with most private health insurance funds. You can book a telehealth consultation online or call 82881937.

Exercise & Lifestyle

In times of isolation don't forget the importance of exercise for maintaining mental and physical health. Rehabilitative exercises are also a great way of self-managing a musculoskeletal condition and some videos can be found on our website. To assist in self management you can also purchase a range of our exercise and therapy products for flat rate shipping of $9 or FREE for orders over $95. If you require extra advice with your rehabilitation we are offering exercise physiology consultations with clinical pilates and exercise equipment. This may be particularly useful if you are unable to visit your usual gym.

We are here to support you through this challenging period for all.

Yours in Health
